Bardaskan Pendant Light

A steel dome pendant is hand-finished in a weathered, textured patina, its pale base bleeding through to rust in patches for a genuinely aged look rather than a flat paint job.

The dome is stainless steel underneath, but the surface finish is what carries the design: a rough, hand-painted texture in a pale, weathered tone with rust-coloured patches breaking through, so no two pendants read quite the same. A single bulb hangs exposed under the dome, and the ribbed underside edge adds a small manufactured detail against the otherwise rustic exterior. It suits a kitchen or dining setting where a raw, artisanal look is wanted rather than a clean modern finish.

Where it works: in a row above a kitchen island, over a dining room table, or in a hallway with an industrial, weathered feel.
