Three clear glass domes on black fabric flex, hung from one antique brass bar. Sized to run the length of an island rather than sit over the middle of it.

The bar mounts flat to the ceiling, with the three drops spaced evenly along its run and each shade held in a knurled brass holder with the fixings left on show. The shades are clear glass, so the lamp itself is part of the look: filament LEDs read as three points of warm light down the run, where frosted bulbs would read as three grey shapes. The drop adjusts at installation, and the weight of the fitting means it wants a proper ceiling fixing rather than a plasterboard plug.

Where it works: over a kitchen island or a long dining table, where the bar can be lined up with the worktop below it.
