Description

A clear glass dome on a knurled brass holder, with a knuckle joint on the arm so the shade can still be angled once it is on the wall.

The backplate is a plain round disc in antique brass plate, and the arm swings out and down to a thumb screw joint where the lamp holder sits. That swing joint is the useful part, because the projection adjusts, so the light can be pulled in over a chair or pushed back flat against the wall. The shade is clear glass in a shallow dome, which means the bulb is on show and a decorative filament style is the right choice rather than a plain frosted lamp.

Where it works: a living room beside a chair, a dining room wall, or a hallway where the arm can be pushed back out of the way.
