Piran Pendant Light

Three oil rubbed bronze dome shades run along a straight bar, spreading warm downlight the length of a kitchen island.

Each shade is a simple metal dome shape with a bright underside that bounces light back down and out. The bar is a straight rod with a centre drop and two shorter arms holding the outer domes level, finished in a mottled oil rubbed bronze that reads warm rather than industrial-black. It is built for a run of counter or a long island rather than a single point, and the rod is adjustable at installation to set the drop height.

Where it works: directly above a kitchen island or a long dining room table, wherever a single pendant would leave the ends of the surface dark.
