Asaluyeh Wall Light

A rounded brass arm curves down to hold a domed glass shade, its surface finely fluted so the light glows softly rather than glaring.

The arm is a single curve of solid brass running from a round backplate down to the shade, with no sharp angles anywhere in the design. The shade itself is a fluted glass dome, the vertical ribs catching and scattering the light so the bulb reads as a warm glow rather than a bright point. The brass is left in a natural, unlacquered finish that will develop a soft patina over time, and the maker states it suits both indoor and outdoor walls.

Where it works: on a covered porch, in a hallway, or beside a front door where a warm brass fitting is wanted.
