The shade is a straight sided drum in a natural linen that lets a soft amount of light through the sides while the open bottom sends the rest down onto the table. Inside it, three curved arms rise from a central column and end in candle style holders, so the light spreads across the width of the shade instead of coming from a single point. The chain, the ceiling plate and the arms are all antique brass plated steel. The chain shortens at installation, which is the only adjustment the fitting offers.

Where it works: over a dining room table, in a living room, or above a kitchen island where a wide drum suits the width of the surface.
