Karaj Pendant Light

A wide circle of printed cloth folded once and hung on a fabric cable, so a dining table gets a soft horizontal shape instead of a hard shade.

The shade is a disc of printed polyester folded across itself, with one corner turned back and the stitched edge left visible along the fold. It hangs from a cream fabric covered cable, adjustable at installation, which covers a standard ceiling over a table and a taller one over a hall. Light spills up over the ceiling and filters down through the cloth, so it lands as a broad wash rather than a defined pool. The print is a mottled two tone in cream and sand that reads as texture from below.

Where it works: over a long dining table, in a living room, or in a bedroom where a soft wide shape suits better than a drum.
