Six curved black arms sweep out from a central hub, each tipped with a brass socket holding its bulb fully exposed. A genuine sputnik: bare bulbs on radiating arms, no shades or crystal anywhere.

Every arm curves outward in a wide sputnik burst and slightly upward from the centre, and each ends in an adjustable brass socket so the angle of each bulb can be set individually rather than fixed in one plane. There is no shade anywhere on the fixture, so the six bare bulbs themselves carry the whole visual effect, which is what makes this a sputnik rather than a starburst. It mounts close to the ceiling on a short stem, making it a practical choice under a lower ceiling.

Where it works: a living room or dining room with a lower ceiling, wherever a semi flush multi-arm fitting is wanted.
