Four natural wood strips frame a small black perforated metal cage, holding a single bulb visible through the mesh.

The outer structure is a cube-shaped frame of natural wood battens joined at black metal corner brackets, and inside it sits a smaller cage of perforated black mesh around the bulb itself. The mix of a warm wood tone against the dark, pierced metal gives it a more considered look than a plain cage pendant. It hangs from a telescoping black rod in sections, so the drop height can be adjusted at installation.

Where it works: over a kitchen island, above a small dining table, or in a living room reading corner.
