A long steel arc in matt bronze carrying a wide linen drum out over a sofa or the end of a table, rising tall at the top of the curve.

This is the larger, softer version of the arc lamp idea. Instead of a small metal dome the arc carries a proper linen shade, which spreads the light out and down across a wide area rather than putting a tight pool under it, so it lights a seating group rather than one chair. The stem is powder coated in a matt bronze brown that keeps it from reading as hardware against a wall, and it rises off a weighted disc base. A foot switch sits on the textile cable, and the lamp allows a generous output by the standards of this catalogue.

Where it works: arcing over a sofa in a living room, over the end of a dining table, or beside a desk in a home office.
