Three long black arms swinging out from a central hub, each ending in a shallow cone, spanning wide across a room with the height to carry it.

This is the largest version of the three arm ceiling light, and the scale is the whole proposition. Each arm pivots at the hub and the cone tilts again at its end, so the three shades can be set pointing down over separate parts of a room or fanned upward to wash a ceiling. The shades are matt black outside and matt white inside, which keeps the reflected light warm and stops the black reading as a hole overhead. Brass details mark the joints. The suspension rod adjusts to suit the room, and the supplier is explicit that the fitting wants a genuinely tall ceiling and two people to put it up.

Where it works: a double height living room, a stairwell void, or a large dining room with the ceiling height to take a wide span.
