Three narrow black cylinders hung under a slim bar, all pointing straight down, spaced unevenly so the fitting reads as a line rather than a row.

The bar is deliberately thin, so from most angles you see the three heads and very little else. Each cylinder keeps the beam tight and the lamp hidden inside it. The spacing is uneven, with a wider gap at one end, and that asymmetry is what stops the fitting looking like a shop track. Everything is powder coated matt black including the heads, the bar and the ceiling plate. The beam is directed downwards and the heads do not swivel, so plan where the light needs to land before it goes up.

Where it works: down a hallway, over a kitchen island worktop, or above a home office desk.

Worth being clear about: these heads are fixed. If you need to aim light at a wall or a picture, choose an adjustable bar instead.
