Yazdgerd Pendant Light

A single arched bar that rises and falls like a slow wave, carrying three opal glass globes of three different sizes along its length.

The bar is a thin cream coloured metal rod bent into one continuous curve, and the globes are hung from it at uneven points, one dipping below the line and two riding above it. The three shades measure three different sizes, which is why the fitting never reads as symmetrical however you look at it. Each is opal glass, so the lamp inside is hidden and the sphere glows evenly rather than showing a bright point. The suspension adjusts at installation.

Where it works: along a dining table where the full span can be seen from the side, over a kitchen island, or in a living room as a sculptural piece.
