Karun Table Lamp

A mirror chrome mushroom lamp, the wide dome shade sitting low over a tall rounded base and reflecting the whole room back.

This is the large version of a genuine mid-century silhouette, and the scale is what changes it: it holds a console or a sideboard on its own rather than sitting quietly on a bedside table. Shade and base are both coated metal in a high gloss silver, polished enough to work as a mirror, while the inside of the shade is matt white so the reflected light stays clean and warm. Two lamps sit under the shade, which spreads the output evenly instead of throwing a single hot pool onto the surface below.

Where it works: a living room console or sideboard, a wide hallway table, or a bedroom chest where a tall lamp balances the room.
