Nain Flush Ceiling Light

A shallow fabric drum fixed flat to the ceiling, plain cream on the outside and lined with a polished gold rim that warms everything reflected out of it.

From directly below this is a plain white disc: a diffuser panel across the base spreading the light evenly with no visible source. From anywhere else in the room you see the inside of the drum, which is finished in a mirror polished gold, so the light bouncing off it comes out warmer and the fitting reads as a ring of colour rather than a flat circle. The outer wall is a plain cream textile that keeps it quiet against a ceiling. It sits shallow across a wide diameter, so it suits rooms with no height to give away, and the LED is built in.

Where it works: a hallway or landing, a living room, or a bedroom with a low ceiling.
