Roshtkhar Wall Light

A smooth ellipse of natural linen held flat against the wall, so the whole shade glows softly through the fabric rather than throwing a beam anywhere.

There is no arm and no visible fitting. The shade is a rounded oval stretched over a frame, standing proud of the wall on a powder coated mount hidden behind it. Soft light passes through the linen fabric itself, which is why the surface reads as an even panel of warm light rather than a bright source with a dark surround. The weave is fine enough to show a faint texture when lit and to read as a plain matt shape when it is off.

Where it works: beside a bed in a bedroom, along a hallway, or in a living room where you want light on the wall and nothing sticking out into the room.
