Sabalan Wall Light

A tall brushed brass panel rolled over at the top and the bottom, with one lamp inside throwing light out of both ends.

This is the upright single lamp version of the same folded panel, narrower and taller, which suits a wall where a square fitting would look squat. The flat face stays quiet and the two curves do the work, catching the light and turning it back into the room above and below. Brushed brass keeps a soft sheen rather than mirroring the room. Projection is minimal, so it can go in a corridor or beside a bed without being knocked, and there is no glass to clean.

Where it works: along a hallway, as a bedside pair, or on a landing wall.

One lamp behind a tall panel gives an uneven wash if the lamp is short. Ask the supplier what it is built around.
