Five sand cream teardrop shades hung at staggered drops from a single linear bar, so one ceiling point covers the length of a dining table.

Each shade is a teardrop of sheer sand coloured fabric stretched over a ribbed cage, so the ribs show as fine dark lines and the lamp inside stays visible as a soft glow rather than a hard point. The five shades hang on braided flexes at five different lengths from a flat bar, which is what stops a run of pendants from reading as a row of identical objects. Everything is finished in the same sand cream, bar included, so the fitting reads as one piece.

Where it works: over a dining table or a kitchen counter, and along a kitchen island where a single fixing point has to cover a long run.
