Goshtasp Table Lamp

A white glazed ceramic urn, ringed with horizontal ribs the whole way up, under a wide tapered linen drum shade in a natural oatmeal.

The ribbing is the point. Each ring catches a highlight along its top edge and holds a shadow underneath, so a plain white glaze picks up depth and movement instead of reading as a flat blank. The body swells at its widest point and pulls into a short collared neck, in the shape of a lidded storage jar. Above it the shade is a natural linen, tapered and wide enough to spread light across a whole surface rather than pooling it.

Where it works: on a bedside table with room to spare, on a hallway console, or on a living room sideboard.
