Eqlid Flush Ceiling Light

A smoked grey glass bell fixed straight onto a matt black ceiling plate, hanging close to the ceiling with the lamp visible inside.

There is no rod and no chain, so the whole fitting sits close to the ceiling and clears a doorway or a low landing without anyone ducking. The glass is tinted a soft smoky grey which takes the edge off a filament lamp while leaving it on show, and the bell shape throws the light down in a defined cone rather than spreading it flat. The ceiling plate is matt black and the collar holding the glass is knurled black chrome, machined with fine ridges that catch the light. It is light enough to fit a standard ceiling rose position.

Where it works: a low ceiling in a hallway, a landing, a small kitchen or a bedroom where a pendant would be in the way.

This fitting has no dimming function, whatever the tag says. The lamp is visible through the glass, so use a clear filament LED with a low output.
