Sefidrud Wall Light

A smoked grey glass bell on a matt black arm, held by a knurled black chrome collar, with the lamp left on show behind the tinted glass.

The glass is tinted a soft smoky grey, which takes the glare off a filament lamp without hiding it, so the lamp you choose is part of the look. The bell shape flares at the mouth and pulls in at the shoulder, throwing most of the light down the wall in a defined cone. The arm and the round backplate are matt black, and the collar between them is knurled black chrome, a fine machined ridging that catches light and gives the fitting its workshop character. A short loop of black braided cable runs from the backplate to the lamp holder.

Where it works: a hallway, a dining room wall, or a living room beside a kitchen worktop where a small pool of directional light is useful.

This fitting has no dimming function, whatever the tag says. A clear filament LED with a low output is the lamp this fitting was drawn around.
