Moshiri Chandelier

A long brass frame hung with a close fringe of clear cut glass rods at staggered lengths, with the lamps set behind them so the whole edge glitters.

The rods are the design. They are clear glass, cut with an irregular texture rather than polished smooth, and hung at different lengths all the way round the frame so the bottom edge breaks up instead of running as a straight line. Behind them the lamps sit in a row along a burnished brass tray, which throws light out through the rods from the inside. The supplier states the fittings are stainless steel finished in burnished brass rather than solid brass. Two rigid stems carry it from the ceiling bar.

Where it works: over a long dining table, or the length of a kitchen island in a large dining room.
