Kuhdasht Pendant Light

A single globe of translucent acrylic, moulded with an organic, molten-looking texture, glows from within to show off its colour rather than hiding the bulb inside a flat shade.

The shade is cast in coloured, translucent acrylic with an uneven, lava-like surface, so light escapes unevenly across the globe rather than in a flat wash, and the colour itself becomes part of the display when lit. It is sold as a multicolour range, and a small metal cap at the top of the cord finishes the fixture cleanly where it meets the ceiling. Left unlit it still reads as a sculptural object thanks to the texture alone, not just the glow.

Where it works: over a bedroom bedside table, above a dining setting, or as an accent pendant in a living room.
