Khamseh Chandelier

Ten frosted glass rods sit at the ends of angular brass branches, spreading asymmetrically from a central pole in a shape closer to abstract sculpture than a conventional chandelier.

The brass frame branches out in sharp, jointed angles rather than a symmetrical radius, with each of the ten arms ending in a frosted glass tube that glows along its length around a lamp inside. The effect is closer to a piece of kinetic art than a traditional light fitting, with the branches appearing to reach in different directions at different heights. It needs a room with enough width to let the asymmetric spread read clearly.

Where it works: over a kitchen island, above a dining table, or as a statement piece in a living room.
