Yasaman Pendant Light

A shallow white dome shade leaves three exposed bulbs visible beneath it, one on a smaller base at the centre, with a pull chain hanging down for a simple on/off switch.

The dome is white on the outside and brass-lined inside, reflecting the light from the three bulbs back down rather than diffusing it through the metal. Two of the three lamp holders take a standard-size bulb and the centre one takes a smaller candelabra-size bulb, so the fixture needs two different bulb types rather than one. A pull chain hangs beneath the dome for switching the light on and off at the fitting itself.

Where it works: over a dining table, above a kitchen island, or as a bedside pendant.
