Jahrom Chandelier

A dandelion-like sphere of thin gold or chrome wires, each tipped in faceted crystal, radiates in every direction from a central hub in this chandelier.

Hundreds of individual crystal points sit along dozens of slender wires that fan out from a compact centre sphere, giving the fixture a soft, seed-head silhouette rather than a hard geometric shape. Lamps sit tucked among the wires, so the light scatters as a field of small sparkle points across the ceiling and walls of a dining room once lit. It is available in gold or chrome and hangs on an adjustable cable, making it easy to set the drop to suit either a standard ceiling or a stairwell void.

Where it works: a dining room, a stairwell, or a hallway where the sphere reads clearly from below.
