Kashafrud Wall Light

Two or three straight black arms pivot independently from a round backplate in this wall light, each one tipped in a brass socket that holds a fully exposed bulb.

The rotating arms cross over each other from a single central backplate, each one adjustable to point up, down or sideways, so the same fixture can throw light in several directions at once or be angled to avoid glare. Brass collars mark where each arm meets its lamp holder, a warm contrast against the matt black rods. Bulbs are not included and sit fully exposed, so the choice of lamp is part of the finished look in a living room or bedroom.

Where it works: either side of a sofa in a living room, flanking a bed, or beside a hallway mirror.

Bulbs sit fully exposed on the rotating arms, so a decorative filament lamp will do more for the look than a plain one.
