Shaqayeq Pendant Light

A rough-textured terracotta pendant, cast in resin to look like raw stone or plaster, narrows into a bottle-like neck before flaring back out at the base.

Cast from lightweight resin and polystyrene rather than any real stone, the shade has a deliberately uneven, pitted surface that catches light unevenly across its whole vase-like silhouette. The supplier lists three colour options, red, light grey and dark grey, but the finish shown here reads as a warm terracotta rather than any of those three named shades, worth confirming before publishing a colour name. A single lamp, not included, hangs inside on a black cord, glowing through the narrow neck opening at the top in a dining room or reading corner.

Where it works: above a dining table, in a reading corner, or as a single statement pendant in a hallway.
