A full sphere of exposed bulbs on radiating brass rods, this Sputnik chandelier is a bright, sculptural centrepiece for a dining table or living room.

Twelve brass rods radiate from a central brass hub in every direction, each tipped with an open holder and no shade, so the bulbs themselves make the shape rather than a glass or fabric cover. This is a genuine Sputnik silhouette, rods ending in bare bulbs rather than shades or crystal. It reads as a full sphere from below and fills a double-height space over a table well. The brass finish keeps it warm rather than cold.

Where it works: over a dining table with room to see the full sphere, or as a statement piece in a living room.
