Mihran Pendant Light

A continuous ribbed form in white resin, tiered like layered dunes, this pendant curves along its length rather than sitting as a single symmetrical shade.

Cast in a lightweight open-cell resin and finished in white, the shade builds its shape from stacked ribbed tiers rather than a smooth surface, so it reads differently depending on the angle it's seen from. Two lamps sit inside the elongated form, spaced along its length so the light reaches both ends of an island or table rather than pooling in the middle. The tiered ribbing also does practical work, breaking up the light source so neither bulb reads as a glare point from below.

Where it works: over a kitchen island or a long dining table, where its length can spread light along the surface.
