Hezar Wall Light

A hand formed glass globe with a softly uneven surface, carried on a short brushed brass arm off a plain round backplate.

The glass is the reason to look twice. It is not a machine perfect sphere but a slightly swollen, faintly hammered form, so the highlights break unevenly across it and no two pieces sit exactly alike. Opal rather than clear, so the lamp inside never shows and the whole shade glows as one soft mass. The arm and the backplate are brushed metal in a warm gold, kept deliberately plain so nothing competes with the shade. It projects from the wall on a compact arm.

Where it works: as a bedside wall light in pairs, along a hallway, or in a living room alcove. Hardwired, so it suits a room already prepared.

Two things to be clear on: it needs wiring into the wall, and the supplier calls the glass cream white while it photographs warmer and greener. Ask us before you order a pair.
