A two tier drum of faceted crystal prisms on a dark bronze frame, hung on a chain, throwing broken light across the ceiling and walls when it is lit.

The prisms are cut with flat faces and hung in two overlapping rows around a circular frame, the upper tier shorter than the lower, so the drum has depth rather than reading as a flat band. Faceted crystal does not diffuse light, it splits it, so this fitting scatters points and edges of light across the ceiling instead of glowing softly. The frame and top ring are a dark bronze that keeps the metalwork quiet and lets the crystal do the work, and the chain lets you set the drop at installation.

Where it works: over a dining room table, in a hallway, or in a stairwell with the height to carry a chain hung fixture.

Read the fitting method before anything else. The supplier calls this a flush light and it is not one, so a low ceiling is out.
