Statira Pendant Light

A shallow brass ring with vertical fluting around its edge and a flat disc of natural alabaster set into the underside, hung level on three fine chains.

The fluting runs the full depth of the outer band, so the ring catches light in narrow vertical strips and reads as machined rather than cast. Underneath, the alabaster disc is the working part: it sits flush in the frame and diffuses everything the lamp behind it puts out, which gives a soft even downward light with no visible source and no glare from below. Three chains hold it level from a matching brass canopy, and the whole piece stays shallow enough to hang low over a table without blocking a sightline.

Where it works: over a dining table, above a kitchen island, or centred in a small dining room where a low hung disc suits the ceiling height.
