Selseleh Table Lamp

A dimpled champagne glass globe, its dimple texture catching the light, sitting open on a brushed brass base. More a glowing object on a side table than a lamp to read by.

The globe is moulded with soft vertical dimples and tinted champagne, so the lamp inside shows as a warm shape refracted through the ripples rather than as a hard point of light. It is open at the top, which throws a little light upwards onto whatever stands behind it, and it sits directly on a solid brushed brass disc with no stem at all. It is genuinely small, but heavier than it looks, so it stays where it is put. An in-line switch on the cable saves reaching behind furniture.

Where it works: a bedside table, a hallway console, or a reading corner as a low second light beside a taller lamp.
