Sanjed Wall Light

A scalloped brass wall light built from fluted cylinder columns fanned together, lighting a wall from both the top and bottom edges of its shade.

The shade is formed from several fluted brass columns set side by side, giving a scalloped, almost architectural profile that catches light differently on every curve. It plugs straight into a wall socket, so there is no rewiring involved, and the open top and bottom edges let light spill both up and down the wall for a soft, ambient wash rather than a single hotspot. The brass finish is warm and lightly polished rather than aged, so it reads as brighter than the supplier's 'antique brass' description suggests.

Where it works: a hallway run, either side of a living room feature wall, or a bedroom for a soft plug-in glow.
