Golrokh Wall Light

A clear glass cone opening upward on a slim stem in burnished bronze, throwing light at the ceiling and giving the room a soft reflected wash.

The stem is a plain rod that passes through a round backplate and continues a short way below it, so the fitting reads as a single line on the wall rather than a bracket with a shade on the end. The cone at the top is clear glass and open to the ceiling, which means the lamp is visible from below and the room is lit indirectly. The metal is solid brass under a burnished bronze finish, dark enough to read as near black on a pale wall while keeping some warmth in the highlights.

Where it works: along a hallway, in a bedside pair, or in a living room where reflected light suits the room better than a direct one.

An upward cone collects dust in the glass. Plan on lifting the shade off two or three times a year.
