Anar Table Lamp

A glossy black mushroom lamp, cordless and rechargeable, small enough for a bedside table and heavy enough to stay where you put it.

The wide dome shade sits low over a rounded cylindrical base, a silhouette lifted straight from the 1970s that has come back around. Both parts are powder coated metal in a polished high gloss black, so the lamp reads as one solid object rather than a shade on a stand. The inside of the shade is white, which lifts the output and keeps the light warm rather than muddy. A push button on the base turns it on and off, and the battery recharges from the supplied fabric covered cable.

Where it works: a bedside table, a hallway console, or carried out to a dining table for an evening.
