A small white linen cylinder on a slim brushed brass arm that steps out from a round backplate. Quiet enough to run in pairs down a hallway or a bedroom wall.
The backplate is a plain brass disc, and the arm runs out horizontal before turning up to carry the shade, which puts the light source forward of the wall rather than flat against it. The shade is a small straight sided cylinder in a vintage white fabric, open top and bottom, so it throws a bright band up the wall and a matching one down. The brass is a satin brushed finish, warm without going yellow. There is no switch anywhere on the fitting, in the photograph or in the supplier data, and no cable is listed either.
Where it works: either side of a bed, along a living room wall, or up a stairwell. It is also made in bright nickel and matt black.
