Kahroba Pendant Light

A rough-textured brown sphere with two irregular cut-outs, glowing warm from within where a single bulb sits hidden behind the resin shell.

The shade is a thick, uneven sphere in a speckled brown resin, its surface deliberately rough rather than smooth. Two organic openings cut into the shell let light spill out unevenly, so the fixture reads as much as a piece of sculpture as a light source when it is off. It comes in two sizes, and is built to take a single bulb behind the resin shell for a warm, contained glow rather than a bright, direct one.

Where it works: over a dining table, as an accent in a living room, or in a hallway where a sculptural pendant works better than a plain shade.

The openings let some bulb glare through directly, so a warm, low-glare bulb suits it better than a bright clear one.
