A small, smooth concrete sphere with a single recessed downlight, giving a tight pool of light rather than a broad glow.

The sphere is cast in a plain grey concrete-effect material with a smooth, unpatterned surface, quite different from the star or moon shape its supplier name suggests. A single small opening on the underside houses a compact bulb, directing light downward in a narrow, focused pool rather than lighting the sphere itself. It is small enough to hang in multiples, staggered at different heights over a kitchen island or dining table.

The single downlight throws a narrow pool rather than lighting the room, so plan on hanging a few together if you need real coverage.
