A textured column in a distressed white finish under a wide oatmeal linen shade, cast in resin rather than turned from wood.

The column is slimmer than it first looks, with a heavy crackled texture running its full length and shallow turned collars breaking it into sections, all under a chalky white that has been rubbed back at the high points. The supplier's materials field says resin, so the weathered timber look is a cast surface rather than real grain, and the lamp will feel lighter in the hand than the photograph suggests. Above it sits a wide tapered shade in oatmeal linen with a small ball finial on top. This is a lamp for a console or a chest of drawers, not a crowded bedside table. An in-line switch sits on the flex.
