Sorkhgol Table Lamp

A thick column of red brown marble carrying a wide frosted glass shade, heavy enough that it stays exactly where you put it.

The base is cut from a single piece of natural marble, tapered slightly towards the top, with veining that runs red through grey and darker brown. No two are the same, which is the point of using real stone rather than a printed finish. The shade is a shallow frosted glass dome with a flat top and rounded shoulders, sitting wide over the column so the light leaves downwards and sideways as a soft even glow with no visible lamp inside. It has real heft, heavy enough on its stone base that it stays put on a desk or console without shifting. A toggle switch sits on the cable for on-off control.

Where it works: a bedside table, a home office desk, or a hallway console where the weight and the stone read as a considered object.
