Talkhbid Wall Light

A long tapered brass cone fixed at its middle to a round backplate, coming to a fine point at the bottom, with a crystal tip at the top that carries the light.

The body is one continuous taper of solid brass, wider at the middle than at either end, so it reads as a single drawn line on the wall rather than a bracket carrying a shade. All of the light comes from a small crystal tip at the top, lit by an inset LED behind it, which is why the output is a warm glow at one point rather than a spread across the wall. The supplier has rounded the sharp end deliberately. The brass is burnished, so the colour is in the metal.

Where it works: along a hallway, on a landing wall, or in a living room where the fitting is an object first and a light second.
