Chabahar Flush Ceiling Light

A drum of ribbed glass rods in an antique brass frame, fixed tight to the ceiling. Built for rooms that cannot take a hanging fitting.

The shade is a ring of vertical glass rods held between two brass bands, so the light leaves it in fine stripes rather than as a flat glow, and the open top throws a soft halo glow onto the ceiling around the fitting. The metalwork is antique brass plated steel, warm rather than brassy yellow. It fixes flush to the ceiling with no chain or rod, which is the whole point of it: a low ceiling room, a landing, or a hallway where a pendant would be in the way. One lamp does the work, so treat it as the general light for a small room rather than the only light in a large one.
