Semnan Picture Light

The shorter of the two lengths, a slim polished brass bar on a central bracket with the LED strip recessed into its underside.

The body is solid brass, polished by hand and then lacquered so the surface holds its colour instead of oxidising to a dull brown. The light comes from a strip set into the underside of the bar, out of direct view, so the fitting washes what is below it without throwing glare at anyone standing in front. The bracket sits shallow against the wall, and this shorter length suits a smaller frame than its longer sibling in the same finish.

Where it works: over a smaller framed picture in a living room, above a narrow mirror in a hallway, or across a shelf in a home office.

Measure the frame before choosing between the two lengths. A picture light that overhangs its picture looks like a mistake.
