Bahar Wall Light

A tinted glass sphere on a short straight arm, in a soft cream that keeps the whole fitting quiet against a pale wall.

The glass is smoked rather than clear, a light grey tint that softens the lamp inside instead of hiding it, so the fitting glows warm and still shows the shape of the sphere when it is off. The arm, backplate and the small cap over the glass are powder coated in a light cream, which is a gentler choice than white against plaster or a warm neutral paint. It projects clear of the wall, so it clears a headboard without crowding it.

Where it works: as a bedside light in pairs, along a hallway, or in a living room alcove where the tint reads warm against a pale wall.
