Golpar Wall Light

A clear glass teardrop hangs below a slim brass arm, the single bulb inside visible through the glass and refracted softly at the shade's curved base.

The arm and circular backplate are solid brass, holding the teardrop shade slightly away from the wall so the bulb's glow spills in every direction rather than being blocked on one side. The glass itself is clear rather than frosted, so the shape of the bulb shows faintly through it, which is part of the appeal rather than something to hide. It has enough presence to work as a bedside light without needing a table.

Where it works: either side of a bed in place of a table lamp, on a living room wall where a soft point of light is wanted, or along a hallway.
