Onsori Pendant Light

A flat brass ring set around its outer edge with small rectangular tiles of alabaster, hung level on fine wires so it reads as a lit halo from below. This is the smallest of the three ring sizes.

The ring is a shallow brass band, open in the middle, and the alabaster is applied as a row of small upright tiles around the outside face. Lit, each tile glows separately with a dark seam between it and the next, so the ring reads as a dotted line of light rather than a continuous band. The inside face of the ring is plain brass and reflects some of that light back down. It hangs on three fine wires from a matching brass canopy and stays flat, which is what suits it to a table. Two larger ring sizes are also sold in the same design.

Where it works: over a dining table, in a living room, or in a hallway with a double height void.
