Khaqani Pendant Light

A horizontal brass rod carries two matching white cone shades on angled arms, in the style of a classic billiard-table light adapted for a dining table or kitchen island.

A single vertical brass stem drops from the ceiling and splits into a horizontal bar, from which two brass arms angle down to a pair of small white cone shades. The shades are offered in either ceramic or aluminium, both plain matte white, so the light softens rather than glares even with the shade fully open beneath the lamp. The whole piece reads as a considered, symmetrical fixture for a table long enough to sit under both shades at once. The suspension rod is adjustable at installation.

Where it works: over a dining table or a kitchen island, where the twin-arm spread suits a long surface.
