Alabaster Wall Lights

Alabaster is the only shade material in this group, cut into discs, domes and panels that sit against a brushed brass or near-black backplate with a knurled collar. The stone reads as an ordinary pale surface with the light off and turns visibly lit from within once it's on, veined and slightly uneven the way natural stone is. A backlit disc pairs a brass-rimmed dish with an offset brushed brass disc for a two-layer glow. Bedroom, bedside, hallway and living room are where these are most at home, wired in rather than plugged in.
